So it’s the first day of a 4 day project, shooting the first of four restaurants. Before even entering the building, I photographed the front exterior. The back patio was better reserved for later when the light would be more appealing. The bar and dining areas we’re busy and posed the first challenge of the project. The restaurant needed images that we’re not staged. This meant every image must convey the appeal of the restaurant without making the patrons recognizable and without focusing a large light on their dinner.

The staff at the Iron Cactus was super friendly and along with the promise of “some of the best fajitas ever”, they immediately put me at ease.
