Photographing People with the Look

I am very interested in how renowned photographers, like Jill Greenberg, create their work. Her lighting techniques, photoshop methods, and attention to detail is astounding.

In this digital age of photography, the entire process is of importance. From the planning stages, to the shutter click, to all aspects of post processing. Recently I have been playing around with & experimenting with similar techniques to create “that shiny look”. In the future I hope to use this effect together with dynamic backgrounds creating dramatic environmental portraits for both advertising and editorial purposes. I have seen this type of composition and I believe it is one of the most interesting photo-illustrative portrait styles today.
