Much like architectural photography, the quality of great product photography comes from taking the time to set up the right shot.

My early career was saturated with product photography. I began by shooting portfolio pieces for Savage Design Group in Houston, TX. Later, as Art Director of the marketing department at Brenthaven Computer Cases in Bellingham, WA, I shot the entire product line of over 30 computer bags.

When I moved to Austin in 2004, I was hired to shoot products for another bag company, Pacific Design. Since, I have expanded to all types of products including my favorite, Austin’s local Savvy Vodka. I shot the Savvy bottle and the “mix-it-up” series of drink recipes featured on the Web site.
