This is a time-lapse of Pearl Jam performing KLRU’s “Austin City Limits” (ACL) PBS concert series taping on October 3rd, 2009. The episode premieres next Saturday, November 21st. 

This time-lapse was created from photographs taken every 6 seconds from 9:09AM – 11:29PM. Over 10,000 images we’re taken. 

If you notice Eddie Vedder performing on stage before they seem to begin the actual show, that is during rehearsal. Yes, that is Ben Harper with him.

This is my way of making a contribution to a organization that I value as one of Austin’s greatest assets. The privilege to help celebrate ACL’s 35th year is a thrill beyond words.

On Tuesday the 20th of October, 2009 the Newshour on PBS aired a story on Austin City Limits and their 35th year! A few seconds of my Pearl Jam time-lapse is included in the beginning of the segment. This is especially important to me because the Newshour is the only national news program I watch.
