From House to Home East Texas Edition March April 2009
I have now contributed to over 10 issues for From House to Home Magazine. This is always so much fun. I enjoy meeting the homeowners and seeing where they live. There is so much to a home and how it is used. The architecture, decor, people, functional elements, etc…, all contribute to the feel of the home and therefore the quality of life within it. Many of the homeowners are retired and have a created their ideal home to enjoy with their family. The magazine’s layout and use of the images are very appealing here and I can’t wait to see more of how they use my photography.

This is the second trip to photograph two showcase homes for “From House To Home” magazine. They pick some really nice homes, either through the best interior designers in the area, or from the builders. Obviously, the designers and builders want to show off their best work, so they pick from their best recent clients.

After Tyler, I was sent to Canton, TX, to shoot for From House To Home magazine. I really enjoy working with this magazine. This home was beautiful and was nestled in a large and very private property full of trees. Yes, that dog did hold still for several frames.

The owners we’re very friendly and the house was very nice. I liked these shots very much, I have a feeling the magazine will pick these also. The living-room had the most beautiful arch and wood floors. Both of these images show the detail of both and I think they will make nice shots for the magazine.
