All of the participating women are thrilled to be contributing to the children’s music genre while advocating for the health benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and infants and raising awareness and money for our local milk bank. 100% of the profits from Sweet Songs CD sales will go to the Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin: milkbank.org/

The album will be celebrated and released in Austin at a family-friendly brunch and concert on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Big Red Sun. Over 10,000 images we’re taken.

If you notice Eddie Vedder performing on stage before they seem to begin the actual show, that is during rehearsal. Yes, that is Ben Harper with him.

If you are experiencing playback issues please try turning off the HD feature (rollover top right of movie).

This is my way of making a contribution to a organization that I value as one of Austin’s greatest assets.
SXSW is the best live music festival in Austin, or anywhere else for that matter. I think it’s such a great festival because there is so much going on at once. You can’t plan too much. Sometimes, it’s just gotta happen, and it usually does. Every year I get involved in someway. For the past two years I have been very fortunate to be part of the festival and also able to take photos. This year I got to see My Morning Jacket (my all time favorite band), Van Morrison, Jim James (acoustic at St. Davids Episcopal Church), Elliott Brood, Luke Doucet, Black Mountain, North Mississippi All-Stars, Yo La Tango, Christian Scott, and many others.
